MSP Observation Deck (Terminal 1)

A small, little-known indoor observation room above the D concourse at Terminal 1, reached by an unmarked staircase just past the McDonald's. Gives a 360-degree view over concourses C, D and E and the runways beyond. Quiet and rarely busy. Manage expectations: low ceilings, limited seating, no outdoor access and only one power outlet. More a peaceful curiosity than a serious photography position.

Best time

Landside access during terminal hours. Rarely crowded at any time.

Terminal 1 parking. Access via the unmarked staircase past the McDonald's entering concourse D.
