Schiphol Panorama Terrace

A large free landside observation terrace above Schiphol Plaza with wide views over the aprons and runways, plus a preserved KLM Fokker 100 on display. Seating, a cafe and toilets on site. Fully accessible without a boarding pass, which makes it unusually good for a European hub. The final approach to the terrace involves stairs. Exposed and often windy.

Best time

Open 07:00-21:00. Check opening times before travelling as they vary seasonally. Schiphol's runway use rotates frequently, so check the active runway before committing.

Parking

Standard Schiphol short-stay and P3 parking, which is expensive. Rail to Schiphol Plaza is the sensible option - the terrace is directly above.
