Victoria Airport Viewing Area

A small dedicated viewing area on Willingdon Road with picnic tables, native planting and a couple of steps up to the platform with a handrail. Close enough to the runway to smell jet exhaust. Several memorials to local pilots make it a quietly reflective spot as well as a spotting one. Traffic at Victoria is light, so bring patience or check a tracker.

Best time

Open 24 hours. Movements are infrequent - check a flight tracker before travelling.

Limited parking on Willingdon Road. Picnic tables on site. Area still being developed.
