Haneda Terminal 3 Observation Deck

A spacious open-air deck on the 5th floor of the international terminal, reached by escalator up through the restaurant level. Wide walking space and clear fencing make it comfortable for photography, and it is consistently reported as the least crowded of the three Haneda decks. Good at night for lit runway and aircraft shots. A paid viewfinder is available.

Lens guide

100-400mm for runway movements; a fast lens is worth having for night shots.

Best time

Open 24 hours. International widebody traffic concentrates in the late evening and early morning banks.

Terminal 3 parking, or monorail/Keikyu to Haneda Airport Terminal 3.
