Halifax Airport Lookout

A roadside lookout on Highway 212 at Goffs with good views of arrivals and departures. Small and popular, so parking fills quickly. Two genuine safety notes from regulars: do not park blocking the entrance, because traffic comes off that road fast on a bend and sightlines are poor, and the site is often littered. Seasonal Edelweiss A340s and A350s are a draw alongside the regular Air Canada and WestJet traffic.

Open 24 hours. Halifax is moderately busy - check a tracker before making the trip out.

Parking

Limited roadside parking and it fills up. Do not block the entrance - it is a genuine accident risk on the bend.
