BER Besucherterrasse

The paid visitor terrace at Berlin Brandenburg, above the main terminal. Manage your expectations: this is a distant view. Aircraft land and depart on the far side of the terminal, so what you mostly get is taxiing traffic and stand activity at 200-300m. No seating and no shelter. Cheap at around 3 euros with timed entry slots, and you need the ticket to exit as well as enter. Morning light is much better than midday.

100-400mm minimum, and even then the runways are distant. Better suited to taxi and stand shots.

Best time

Open 08:00-22:00, closed Thursdays. Morning light is markedly better. Book a time slot at the machine.

Parking

Standard BER terminal parking. Note that the new terminal construction has significantly obstructed sightlines.
