Vienna Besucherterrasse

The visitor terrace above the terminal at Vienna, with views over the aprons and the non-Schengen stands, which puts widebody aircraft close at hand. Important current caveat: new terminal construction has severely obstructed the view of the main runways, and much of what you can see now is the neighbouring building. Signage is poor and access involves stairs, lifts and narrow corridors. Worth checking current construction status before travelling.
