Sakura no Yama Park

The famous cherry-blossom spotting park just north of Narita, positioned directly under the approach with aircraft passing low overhead. In early April the blossom and the aircraft together make this one of the most photographed spotting locations in the world. Free parking, toilets and a few takeaway food options nearby. Worth visiting outside blossom season too - the position is excellent year-round.

Best time

Open 06:00-23:00. Early April for cherry blossom, which is peak season and very busy. Late afternoon light is excellent.
