Flyvergrillen

A Danish roadside grill next to Copenhagen Airport with a purpose-built viewing platform that lets you shoot over the fence rather than through it. Aircraft depart very close by. Food, seating and a children's playground on site, which makes it a comfortable full-day base. A local institution among Danish spotters.

At least 75mm; longer if aircraft are departing 4R or 22R. 100-400mm is a safer choice.

Best time

Open 10:30-19:45 daily. Departure direction determines how close the action is - check the active runway.

Parking

Parking on site at the restaurant. Toilets and food available, which is unusual for a spotting location.
