Zurich Observation Deck E

A large airside observation deck reached by the lift near gate E55, on Level 3 of Dock E. Spacious, with tower audio piped in, binoculars and displays on the airlines operating at Zurich. Important limitation: this deck is airside and only accessible to passengers departing from the E gates, so it is not an option for a general spotting visit. Opening hours have been reported as narrower than published, particularly in summer.

100-400mm for runway movements; 24-70mm works for aircraft on the adjacent stands.

Best time

Published as 08:00-21:30 but reported to close outside morning and evening windows on summer weekends. Verify on the day.

No parking relevance - airside only, accessible to departing E-gate passengers via the lift near gate E55.
