Larry Berg Flight Path Park

A purpose-built airport park on the Richmond side of YVR, named after the airport's former CEO. Paper-aeroplane benches, a scale runway, a globe and interpretive displays, plus a big grass area. Sits under the south runway (08L/26R), which sees lighter traffic than the north runway - most heavies use the north side, so check the active runway before committing. Cherry blossoms in spring.

Best time

Open 05:00-23:00. Check which runway is active - the north runway handles most widebody traffic.

Parking

Dedicated parking on the north and south sides of the park, off Russ Baker Way. No restrooms or drinking water.
