MSP Aircraft Viewing Area (Cargo Road)

The main Minneapolis spotting location, well positioned for 12R/30L and 4/22 - most heavies arrive and depart on 12R when winds cooperate. Picnic tables and benches on site. The recurring complaint is the tall security fence, which blocks the view at ground level; regulars stand on the benches or tables to clear it. Widely rated among the better public viewing areas in the US despite that.

Open 07:00-21:00. Best when 12R is in use for heavy arrivals and departures.
