Munich Besucherpark (Visitors Park)

The airport's dedicated visitors park, with a viewing mound overlooking the airfield, a playground, restaurant and gift shop. One of the better family-oriented spotting facilities in Europe. Note that parking and the viewing mound are charged separately, which catches people out. Has its own S-Bahn station.

Parking

Paid parking, and a separate charge for the viewing mound itself. S-Bahn to Besucherpark station is the easier option.
